Opinion. It's all pc. I'm mac and ubuntu. Couldn't run it. Seems like a reasonable product but i'll never know.

I\'m evaluating log analysis tools. I tried to download this one, but the Websense configuration in my network blocked the page.I\'ll try later from another place.

It looks good but the function I need you must buy it to get no way to test without buying.And as this is expensive and the USB version is seperate and another cost. I will reevaluate and check into doing this with Ruby .I will see.But if it works it would be Ideal.save much Time.

Serial COM Port Monitor test. It works fine. It's a fantastic tool.

When analysing Excel controlled serial communication this monitor freezes the pc completely , the same as with the free serial port monitor 3.31.

A must for embedded developers I do embedded development and use a serial port for an interface. Not only can you monitor any port while you have it open with another application (and monitor it at the driver level), but you can break in and slip in additional input too. This tool has a very decent interface, is quite intuitive to use and saves me gobs of time. No help finding a process locking my port I downloaded the software looking for an easy way to determine the application that was locking my serial port (Type 633 error). The software gave me all of the usual suspects (eg., svchost), but no info on the application that was the root cause of the problem.I ended up using the Windows Task Manager to selectively kill non-interactive applications until I found the right one. That was ugly and time-consuming, but it worked.

I downloaded and installed, but in the lite version you can't save the configuration.I did not really get it to work, so I decided to look for something else, for the moment I'm not willing to pay something, since we're still expirimenting with a local server instead of an ISP.
